Australian Blockchain company Civic Ledger has been awarded Emerging FinTech Organisation of the Year at Australia’s 2018 Finnie Awards in Sydney.

Civic Ledger Co-CEO and co-founder Katrina Donaghy said the company was thrilled to win the award.

“We are very honoured to be recognised by FinTech Australia and the NSW Government as the Emerging FinTech Organisation of 2018,” said Donaghy.

The Finnie Awards recognise Australian individual and business excellence, and their contribution across the rapidly growing fintech industry.

“We are focused on using blockchain to build viable solutions that improve people’s interactions with government for the longer term,” said Donaghy.

Civic Ledger works with governments specifically to deliver on Blockchain’s potential, build viable long term solutions that improve individual’s interactions with government, and to better enable global adoption.
